Godfrey Lado is een Zuid-Soedanese Amsterdammer, muzikant, dichter en maatschappelijk ondernemer die kunst inzet als middel voor dialoog en participatie. In Amsterdam heeft hij zich ontwikkeld tot een invloedrijke stem voor de migrantengemeenschap, onder meer als oprichter van de Ubuntu Ambassade (onderdeel van zijn platform The Forgotten Stones).

Gabriel Bugoma is a Congolese refugee who currently resides in the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya. He is a talented photographer and videographer, who has gained recognition for his work, particularly for his photographs and video pieces of the camp and its inhabitants.

His Mission is to document and share the experiences of refugees through compelling photography and videography, creating a platform that

Skilled and committed filmmaker and photographer with a strong background in producing films, documentaries, infomercials, and social media videos. Eager to use visual storytelling skills to create impactful content for individuals, communities, and humanitarian organizations.

Stephen Lopoda

Stephen Lopodo is a filmmaker, photographer, editor and colourist with 3 years of experience crafting visual stories. Known for blending striking imagery with heartfelt narratives. He uses his lense to highlight resilience, culture and the human spirit. Driven and ambitious he creates impactful films that cross borders, inspire audience and spark meaningful conversations.

Celestine Raven is an accomplished interviewer and talk show host for Amsterdam Television in the Netherlands. With a rich academic background in political science from Amsterdam and France, Celestine has built a diverse career as a reporter, director, and journalist for Dutch television.
Her passion for storytelling extends beyond journalism; she has also worked as a therapist, trainer, and coach in personal development. Celestine’s dedication to empowering individuals and communities has taken her to various third-world countries, where she has spearheaded projects aimed at fostering awareness and inner strength. As the host of “Strong Women Beautiful Men,” Celestine brings her unique blend of professional experience and heartfelt connection to create compelling conversations that unite and inspire.

David Djuly

David Djuly is a director and editor. He studied Audiovisual Design at Media College Amsterdam. He currently works at Publieke Omroep Amsterdam.

My Motivation
In my work as an advisor and coach for entrepreneurs, I experience every day how diversity and cross-cultural collaboration add value. For me, intercultural exchange and global unity are not abstract ideals, but essential foundations for sustainable growth—both in organizations and in society.
I have learned that real change begins by acknowledging each person’s unique story. Bringing together different perspectives, cultures, and experiences sparks new insights, creates mutual understanding, and often leads to creative solutions that benefit everyone.
This is why the mission of Strong Women – Beautiful Men resonates so strongly with me. It is a platform that not only inspires, but also shows that strength and beauty are universal—regardless of origin, culture, or gender. As a board member, I want to use my experience to help make these stories more visible and to contribute to a movement that connects people worldwide.

Coco Swaan , board member, has a master’s degree in English Literature and is currently working as a teacher.
